What a lovely experience! While I am from New Jersey, I am truly a Parisian at heart — so I was excited to pop into this quaint coffee house. I was blown away by the customer service, sense of community, and presentation of their beverages and pastries. I enjoyed the drip coffee and espresso, both of which were lovely. Looking forward to returning soon!

I live about 15 minutes away and hadn’t made a trip until today and I wish I hadn’t waited so long. French Press stands out from the many other great local coffee shops that are mostly either more contemporary or focused in roasting coffee. French Press has an upscale French Cafe vibe that fits in wonderfully in downtown Moorestown. Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating, classy decor that feels like an old Parisian cafe, delicious coffee, incredible French pastries, and the best part is the friendly, welcoming, abs knowledgeable staff! I will definitely add this to my short list of local coffee shops I’ll attend regularly.

The French Press is such an adorable spot! It truly transports you to a countryside feel right on Main Street. The aesthetics and vibe alone make it worth visiting, but the almond croissant is a must try! The pastries are fresh and delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee. Indoor seating is limited, so I sat outside, which was perfect on a beautiful day. It can get busy, with a constant flow of people indoors, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here! I did not feel rushed to give up my table.

I happened across French Press on a dreary Monday, dreary both personally and because like many days in the real Paris, it was raining. I was then then met with perhaps the most inauthentic French experience of my life. I have spent time in France myself, but the real Parisian dining experience is best summarized by a close friend's anecdote: upon ordering a latte with extra espresso (in Paris), he was met with pushback by a judgmental, cigarette-breathed barista whose attitude could only be explained by generations of cultural arrogance and/or an untreated hernia. Upon standing his ground, the barista then called in the rest of the staff, who combined forces to incessantly and publicly insult the order, which did not adhere to the traditional definition of a latte. My brief moment in Moorestown gave me no such cultural immersion. As I walked gingerly over the cobblestones leading towards the French Press, which is tucked behind a charming garden at the edge of a stunning early 20th-century home, I peeked up the stairs towards the warm interior lighting and suspected a special experience awaited me. I was right. Even though the baristas were impeccably dressed in fitted white shirts and slacks, with stunning colorful scarves tied snugly around their collars, they did not insult my lazy outfit, hairdo, or indecisive coffee order. Instead, I was met with matching smiles from both baristas and a friendly and attentive greeting from the young gentleman taking my order. The support barista, although quieter, followed his example by virtue of impeccable listening. Chiming in from further back, she kindly offered a solution for my dithering, which turned out to be exactly what I wanted. I left the cafe smiling and even called a friend to report the profound experience. Needless to say, this was a totally off-mark imitation of the French cafe. Five Stars.

The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, making it a great spot to sit and enjoy the moment. The staff were also very friendly and kind, which made the experience even better.
